a whole day affair for all commerce students. the first Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants gathering [am] and Civic Welfare Training Service [pm]. 8:15. we had our five arms meeting. i joined the talents arm together with my close friends. the kbl 2 room was so crowded! people are everywhere. [noisy and movy]. the room which can normally contain 40 people had more than a hundred in it. i could hardly breathe. i was sweating.
i could see excitement, confusion and boredom on each students' faces.
we had the election of officers and discussion of upcoming events. i just sat there quietly not wanting to contribute more heat to the room. after this, we had our division meeting. there were already more than 400 hundred students so the Guides decided to transfer us in the lobby. [there are more than 600 students actually.] i was so hungry. but there was no time alotted for breaks. there was a short lecture then we had another election for division 1 officers for the entire year. we have a good president. she has a lot of motivating words. too bad not everyone could hear them. the vice-president was my HS classmate. she is an experienced leader and i'm one of the witnesses of her good works. i was totally shocked to be nominated by my long-time bestfriend that i covered her mouth for a few seconds. hahaha... but my name was heard anyway. i never thought i'd won. there were a lot of greater and more capable people out there. . anyway, here's my new title... "Division 1. Secretary." so that means i'll be more updated. hmm... and have lots of things to blog i think. =) i'm glad that my long-time bestfriend got elected for the position of auditor. since we were at the lobby, i had to carry a small but heavy white board and write the list of nominees and hold the eraser and carry it after and flip the board to the audience's view and flip it back to my view and so on. i was so exhausted and so tired. i just had a great excercise! finally the new set of amazing officers are complete! sooo... new set of friends as well. i'll call them 'student buddy officers' lol. after the election, we had another meeting. the list of activities was overwhelming and exciting. whoohoo! i was so hungry. [everyone were].
lunchtime. we went to my l-t bestie's house to borrow rubbershoes. then went to my house to change and eat. it was a total waste of time. after knowing that it was okay not to wear the CWTS uniform for now. we started the afternoon affair. half of the freshmen students were in the school coliseum. it was like a large sauna! we sat so close to each other that i nearly suffocated! i fanned myself the whole time. i just couldn't stand the heat anymore. i was dehydrated. then my bff and i decided to go out for some air and water. thank goodness the student volunteer allowed us to. when we came back, there was another speaker. he was like yelling on the microphone. 300 decibels [kidding]. i just pity those who were seated near the sound system. hope their eardrums are still intact. the speaker was funny. he wanted our cellphones to be in a silent "mood."
we had a lecture on A(H1N1) virus after. then an open forum.
i was starving. again.
finally! the day has ended. i wanted to go home so badly.
so glad to have a new schedule for CWTS.
